Welcome
Welcome
Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Gunton Primary Academy's website.
At our school we have three key values:
- Grow – our children are learning and developing the skills, attributes and knowledge to become responsible, independent adults of the future
- Persevere - learning is often a challenging process, with successes but children need to also make mistakes so they can learn how to improve. Therefore we believe children need to be supported in developing self-confidence and encouragement to overcome challenges and to fulfil their potential.
- Aspire - children need to believe that they can achieve, that they can take on new challenges and be excited about the opportunities that school and life will offer them.
We believe that Primary education sets the foundations for a lifetime of learning. Our staff team are committed to creating a secure, caring and positive atmosphere in which children are encouraged to develop to their full potential in a range of experiences and skills. Our children are confident, polite, happy and keen to learn. They are encouraged to be independent and to develop a sense of responsibility. Visitors to the school frequently comment on the welcoming atmosphere, and how well the children conduct themselves. We are proud of our children, and their achievements, and we have high aspirations for their academic attainment and personal growth.
We value a strong working partnership between home and school and we proactively create opportunities for you to be involved in your child’s learning in school. Working closely together will enable your child to make the best possible progress and to achieve their potential
We hope that your child's time with us will be an exciting one, and we look forward to working with you in the future.
We would be delighted to show you around our school, and to answer any questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best wishes,
Mr. Matthew Jordan Mrs. Kirsten Stone
